Choose who, then send; Nearby without the same Wi-Fiv1.0.7Latest

NewChoose who, then send — Home is a list of nearby people. Pick someone, add files, then tap Send. Nothing leaves until you do. Recent nicknames sit under the list.
NewNearby finds people without matching Wi-Fi — phones and computers show up even when you aren’t on the same network, then send over the best path they can.
NewSeven more languages — Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Hindi. Change it in Settings.
NewA checklist so Nearby actually works — if Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or notifications are off, the app shows what’s limited and how to turn it on.
NewLaunch at login on Windows and Mac — the app can start with your computer. A fresh install turns this on; you can turn it off in Settings.
ImprovedTwo Android phones send without joining a hotspot — they link over Wi-Fi Direct instead of asking the other phone to join a temporary network.
ImprovediPhone backups to a nearby Mac stay local — when your phone and Mac are close, Photo Backup can go device-to-device even if you aren’t on the same Wi-Fi.
ImprovedBackup on desktop looks like a gallery — photos and videos grouped by day, tap to preview, select and delete from the computer. Backup is on iPad Home too.
ImprovedInternet sends skip a path that isn’t reachable — if a private internet route can’t actually connect, the app doesn’t wait on it.
FixedShare via link is back on desktop — create a download link from Home on Windows and Mac again.
FixedAndroid nearby sends don’t stall — same-Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct transfers keep going when the usual path is busy.
FixedSign in with Apple and iPhone purchases stick — the Apple sheet stays on the window, PRO binds to the account you’re signed into, and you can retry after cancelling the sheet.
FixedGroup posts show on the list — new group drops appear in Groups, and you don’t get the same alert again after relaunch.
PrivacyYou choose who can see you nearby — contacts while you’re in the app, ten minutes, or always on.

Photo Backup to your PC or NAS; safer received filesv1.0.6

NewBack up photos to your own devices — from your phone to a signed-in Windows or Mac, or to your own Nextcloud, NAS, or S3. Connect Nextcloud or Cloudflare R2 from Backup without pasting keys. Your originals stay on the phone.
NewBuy PRO on Google Play — subscribe or restore from the in-app paywall on Android, the same way iPhone and Mac already do on the App Store.
ImprovedDesktop PRO checkout finishes in the browser — on Windows, pay in the browser and PRO unlocks in the app when you’re done.
ImprovedVideos play in-app on Windows — group and library videos play on Windows, same as phone and Mac.
ImprovedYour other devices stay on the fast path — sending to another device on your account uses a private internet path when you aren’t on the same Wi-Fi.
ImprovedNearby still works with a VPN on — devices on the same Wi-Fi still show up when a VPN is connected.
FixedAndroid videos keep their real colors — HDR and wide-color clips look right.
FixedGroup messages stay in order — drops in a group keep the order they were posted.
FixedThe Windows tray flyout stays usable — accept a file from the tray without the main window collapsing.
PrivacyA warning before opening a received file that can run — confirm first if an installer or similar file could execute code.

Play group videos in-app; faster share links

NewVideos play right where you find them — group drops and your library play video in-app.
ImprovedShare links pick a healthy path sooner — browser downloads prefer a fast, working route.
Aug 5–7
2026

Faster internet sends when a direct path works

NewTry a direct path before the long way — internet sends try a private device-to-device path first, and only use the shared relay if they have to.
ImprovedYou can see how a transfer travelled — the app labels whether a send used a direct path or the relay.
FixedPinned friends off the radar still try the fast path — a friend you’ve connected with before isn’t forced onto the slowest route.

Invite to a group by QR; Keep 24h keeps going

NewJoin a group with a QR code or a link — share an invite, then scan it in-app or paste the link to join.
NewSmall group drops stay available automatically — short photo batches keep themselves for 24 hours. Mute a noisy group without leaving it.
ImprovedKeep 24h downloads can resume after a blip — if the network drops mid-download, the next try continues from where it stopped.
ImprovedGroup photos feel like a real gallery — pinch, double-tap, and swipe, and you land on the photo you tapped.
FixedInvite codes stay readable — the QR stays on screen, and the scanner works if the rear camera isn’t available.

Groups that look like chat; PRO on the App Store

NewKeep a group drop for 24 hours — post photos or files and they stay available after you go offline. Members get a photo collage and can pull the originals. Free accounts have a storage meter; PRO goes to 50 GB.
NewBuy PRO in the App Store — on iPhone and Mac, upgrade from the in-app paywall with your Apple ID.
ImprovedGroup messages read as one bubble — photos in a collage, other files in compact rows, one status line.
ImprovedMac keeps files you picked readable — photos and folders you chose stay openable after you quit and reopen the app.
FixedLate joiners and Remove mean what they say — join after a drop was posted and you can still receive it. Removing a drop takes the kept copy with it.

PRO that actually tracks your subscription

NewPRO follows a real subscription — including seats shared with a team. If it lapses, you return to the free personal tier.
ImprovedSign-in errors name the real problem — Google or Apple sign-in failures say what went wrong.
FixedEnglish stays English — every screen follows the language you picked.
FixedPaywall promises match the product — the upgrade screen only lists what PRO includes today.

Safer nearby sending, a calmer first run

NewPick the language on a share link — the download page has a language switch, and remembers what you chose.
ImprovedA shorter, calmer first run — one guided intro, and Android waits to ask for permissions until you need them.
ImprovedThe app speaks your language everywhere — navigation and Mac notifications follow the language you picked.
FixedCancel now reads as cancel — when the other person cancels, the sender stops.
FixedGuest setup works on a fresh install — a rejected nickname no longer blocks guest setup on Android.
FixedA steadier desktop window — Home keeps your scroll and radar when a transfer starts or finishes.
PrivacyNearby sending proves who it’s talking to — a device that only overheard yours can’t collect your files.
PrivacyIncoming files stay in your downloads folder — a crafted file name can’t place a received file somewhere else on your computer.
Jul 23–24

Your first send, step by step

NewA guided first send — after welcome, the app walks you through your first transfer, then you send for real.
ImprovedMuch faster offline Android-to-Android sending — two phones with no internet now link several times faster.
FixedReceived files show up in the iPhone Files app — and deleting a file frees the space it used.
PrivacyTougher against tampering on shared Wi-Fi — the app rejects fake transfer messages from other devices on your network.

Likz Drop lives in your Windows tray

NewQuick receive from the Windows tray — close the window and it keeps listening. When something arrives, accept it from a compact flyout.
FixedOne window, not two — opening Likz Drop again brings up the existing window.

2026

Pause & resume, faster Apple-to-Apple sending

NewPause and pick up where you left off — if a transfer loses its connection, it pauses. Fix your Wi-Fi, then tap Resume.
ImprovedFaster sending between Apple devices — nearby Macs, iPhones and iPads use a direct high-speed link, even on different Wi-Fi.
FixedClearer cancels & your picks stay put — a cancel says cancel, and your file picks stay selected after a nearby send.
Jul 20
2026

Transfers survive a locked screen

NewProgress on your Lock Screen — on iPhone, a Live Activity shows how your send or receive is going right from the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island — no need to unlock. Android shows full transfer progress on the lock screen too.
FixedScreen-off no longer drops transfers — on iPhone, sending or receiving over Wi-Fi keeps going when your screen turns off or locks mid-transfer.

A redesigned Library

NewYour files, day by day — sent and received items in a thumbnail grid, on phone and desktop. Search, sort, and see how much space they use.
NewTidy up in bulk — select several files at once and delete them together to free up space.
FixedMac window polish — your files and galleries no longer tuck behind the window buttons in the top corner.
Jul 17–18
2026

Sign in with Google & Apple

NewSign in with Google or Apple — use an account you already have to sign in, or to turn a guest session into a full account. No new password to remember.
ImprovedSmoother downloads from share links — on your phone you can now save several arriving files in a single tap, and link transfers stay fast while they run.
FixedSharper previews & steadier offline sending — photo thumbnails show up correctly, and offline transfers keep going even when a device’s connection shifts underneath them.
Jul 15–16
2026

Faster transfers across networks

ImprovedFaster sending & receiving across networks — nearby scanning pauses while a transfer runs.
ImprovedSnappier Library — long transfer histories now load in pages, so the Library stays quick no matter how much you’ve sent.
ImprovedNicer link downloads — after a file arrives from a share link you can open it right from the page, including app files on Android.
FixedQR code scanning — scanning a transfer code with the camera works reliably again.
Jul 14–15

Share by link & a fresh look

NewShare files with a link — create a link for the files you’ve picked and the other person just opens it in any browser to download — no app needed on their end. It works whether they’re on the same Wi-Fi or on a different network, and you approve each download before it starts. Send several files at once, or download them all as a single zip.
NewMake the app your own — pick an accent color and adjust how compact the interface feels in Settings, and the whole app restyles to match.
Jul 10–13
2026

Automatic updates & smoother sharing

NewLikz Drop updates itself on Windows — the app now checks for new versions and installs them for you, with a cleaner setup experience.
ImprovedSmoother sharing from other apps — on iPhone, the Share sheet opens Likz Drop with your files ready to send, suggests people you’ve sent to recently, and keeps your recent shares handy.
ImprovedGroups stay in sync — see who’s online in a group, and tap Receive again to grab a drop you missed.
Jul 7–8
2026

Send to a whole group

NewGroups — create a group, add people by nickname, and send files to everyone at once. Each person accepts the drop from their inbox, and you can see how it’s going for the whole group.
ImprovedSteadier sending on Windows — large files sent over the internet no longer stall, and recover when the connection is busy.
Jul 5–6
2026

Welcome tour & device themes

NewA quick welcome tour — the first time you open Likz Drop, a short guided intro shows you how to send, pick a nickname, and that every transfer is encrypted. Skip it anytime.
ImprovedTheme that follows your device — choose Auto, Light, or Dark in Settings; Auto matches your device’s system theme.
ImprovedSteadier transfers & tidier notifications — sending is more reliable when connections wobble, and several screens got a polish.
ImprovedMore of the app in your language — identity, transfer status, and reconnect messages are fully translated in English and Vietnamese.
FixedYour nickname stays put offline — open the app without a connection and it keeps your real nickname instead of resetting to your device name.

2026

Transfers that resume

NewTransfers resume automatically — if your Wi-Fi drops, your screen turns off, or a device briefly goes out of range, the transfer pauses and picks up right where it left off. Works for nearby transfers and across networks, even with several files at once.
ImprovedCleaner cancelling — cancel on either device and the other side stops right away, with no leftover half-finished files.
Jul 1–2
2026

Account controls & steadier relay

NewDelete your account — remove your account and all its data straight from your profile, confirmed with a one-time code.
ImprovedMore reliable sending across networks — if one path is busy or down, Likz Drop switches to a healthy one.

ImprovedPhotos and files keep the order you picked them in.
FixedCleaner transfer wrap-up — leftover accept prompts are ignored, and finished transfers reset cleanly.
