NewChoose who, then send —
Home is a list of nearby people. Pick someone, add files, then tap Send. Nothing leaves
until you do. Recent nicknames sit under the list.
NewNearby finds people without matching
Wi-Fi — phones and computers show up even when you aren’t on the same network,
then send over the best path they can.
NewSeven more languages — Spanish,
Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, and Hindi. Change it in
Settings.
NewA checklist so Nearby actually
works — if Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or notifications are off, the app shows what’s
limited and how to turn it on.
NewLaunch at login on Windows and
Mac — the app can start with your computer. A fresh install turns this on; you can
turn it off in Settings.
ImprovedTwo Android phones send
without joining a hotspot — they link over Wi-Fi Direct instead of asking the other
phone to join a temporary network.
ImprovediPhone backups to a nearby
Mac stay local — when your phone and Mac are close, Photo Backup can go
device-to-device even if you aren’t on the same Wi-Fi.
ImprovedBackup on desktop looks like
a gallery — photos and videos grouped by day, tap to preview, select and delete from
the computer. Backup is on iPad Home too.
ImprovedInternet sends skip a path
that isn’t reachable — if a private internet route can’t actually connect,
the app doesn’t wait on it.
FixedShare via link is back on
desktop — create a download link from Home on Windows and Mac again.
FixedAndroid nearby sends don’t
stall — same-Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi Direct transfers keep going when the usual path is
busy.
FixedSign in with Apple and iPhone
purchases stick — the Apple sheet stays on the window, PRO binds to the account
you’re signed into, and you can retry after cancelling the sheet.
FixedGroup posts show on the
list — new group drops appear in Groups, and you don’t get the same alert
again after relaunch.
PrivacyYou choose who can see you
nearby — contacts while you’re in the app, ten minutes, or always
on.
